The camera is paired with two high-quality cinema zoom lenses: the DZOFilm Catta Zoom 18-35mm T2.9 and the DZOFilm Catta Zoom 35-80mm T2.9. Together, they provide a continuous focal range from 18mm to 80mm, covering everything from wide establishing shots to medium and close framing without the need to constantly switch lenses. This allows crews to move faster on set while maintaining visual consistency throughout the project.
The RED Komodo 6K features a global shutter sensor, eliminating rolling shutter artifacts and making it especially suitable for handheld work, action scenes, or fast camera movement. With the ability to record in REDCODE RAW, filmmakers gain maximum flexibility in post-production for color grading and finishing, delivering cinematic results suitable for high-end productions.
The DZOFilm Catta zoom lenses offer a cinematic look with smooth focus and zoom control, consistent color rendering, and a fast T2.9 aperture across the entire zoom range.
