The Kinefinity MAVO EDGE 8K is a high-performance full-frame digital cinema camera designed for demanding professional production environments. It features an 8K full-frame CMOS sensor (8192 x 5456), advanced internal recording capabilities (including ProRes and uncompressed RAW), and a modular design that integrates seamlessly into a variety of shooting workflows.

The camera supports both Rec.709 and Rec.2020 color spaces, and offers a movable dynamic range, allowing the operator to prioritize either highlights or shadows depending on the lighting conditions. It includes both traditional ISO-based exposure control and Exposure Index (EL) mode, as well as built-in electronic ND filters for precise exposure management without affecting depth of field.

With support for dual SSD media, the MAVO EDGE allows simultaneous recording of high-resolution and proxy files, making it suitable for productions that require both speed and post-production flexibility. High frame rate recording is also available, with support for up to 300 fps, depending on resolution and sensor crop settings.
