Rules.

01 — Booking & Confirmation

Bookings from 08:00 to 23:00 by arrangement.
Minimum rental: 1 hour.
All reservations require written confirmation from the studio. Studio visits available by appointment during operating hours.

02 — Payment

Full payment before the shoot begins.
Prices exclude VAT.
Additional charges (overtime, damage, extra services) are settled after the session.
Accepted: bank transfer, card, cash (by prior agreement).

03 — Rental Time

Your slot starts and ends as booked — setup and cleanup included.
Late arrival does not extend the session.
Overtime is billed in 15-minute increments at the hourly rate; any time beyond 1 hour triggers a full additional hour’s charge.

04 — Number of Participants

Up to 10 people included (common areas count).
Surcharges on base rate:
11–20 people +25%
over 20 people +50%.

05 — Studio Usage

The studio is handed over clean and must be returned in the same condition.
The renter is personally responsible for the shoot’s content, the conduct of all participants, and compliance with applicable laws. Comuna Studios is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages — direct or indirect — occurring on the premises.
We strongly recommend clients hold appropriate insurance for the duration of the shoot.

• No alcohol or drugs on premises
• No pornographic, offensive, or illegal content
• No indoor smoking
• Cyclorama: indoor footwear or provided slippers only. Heavy stains (grease, paint, oils, markers, or similar) trigger repainting fees — partial repaint €50, full repaint €100
• Special effects (fog, haze, confetti, glitter, powder, flour, snow, oils, liquids) require prior written permission — unauthorized use may result in shoot suspension and additional cleaning or repair charges
• Moving furniture or décor requires prior agreement
• Animals on premises require advance written permission
• Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Backgrounds available for rent at €10/session — damage charged separately
• The renter is responsible for all studio property — equipment, furniture, décor, and interior elements. Repair or replacement costs are determined by the studio
• Video surveillance is active at all times
• Repeated violations may result in session termination or blacklisting

06 — Lost & Found

Found items are stored for up to 14 days, then donated or discarded.
The studio bears no responsibility for lost belongings.

07 — Parking & Loading

No private parking on site — paid public parking available nearby.
Brief loading/unloading at the entrance with hazard lights is permitted.
The studio is not responsible for parking fines or towing.

08 — Equipment Rental

All equipment is issued in working order and must be returned the same way.
Damage or loss is compensated in full. Some items require a studio technician on site.
Off-site rental is governed by a separate agreement and does not include the 30% in-studio discount.
The studio is not liable for any injuries, malfunctions, losses, or insurance incidents related to off-site use.

09 — Technical Support

Technician or assistant support available on request for an additional fee.
Self-installation of equipment may void studio liability for malfunctions.

10 — Cancellation & Rescheduling

• 72+ hours in advance — free cancellation
• Within 72 hours — 50% of rental fee forfeited
• Same-day or no-show — 100% forfeited
• Rescheduling by mutual written agreement only

11 — Legal Terms

By confirming a booking, you accept all terms above.
All activities on premises are at participant risk.
Disputes are governed by Portuguese law.
Comuna Studios reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
