Video production FAQ
What does full video production include?
Everything from the idea to the final cut: concept and script, budget, casting, locations, crew and equipment, the shoot, then editing, colour grading and sound. You work with one team for the whole project.
Who is on the crew?
A director, a DOP (director of photography) and videographers, plus light, sound, art and post-production, sized to the project. Cameras and light come from Comuna Rental.
Do you produce music videos?
Yes. We make music videos for artists and labels, from the concept and art direction to the shoot and the edit, in Lisbon or on location in Portugal.
Can you write the script or concept?
Yes. We can develop the idea from your brief, or produce a script you already have.
Do you shoot in your own studios?
Yes. Comuna Studios in Lisbon has sets, a cyclorama and lighting, and our camera and light come from Comuna Rental.
Can you film anywhere in Portugal?
Yes. Filming in Portugal is our daily work: we shoot in Lisbon, Porto, Sintra, the coast and the Algarve, and travel with the crew and equipment.
How much does a video production cost?
It depends on the idea, the number of shoot days, cast, locations and post-production. Send us your brief and we will come back with a plan and a quote.
What do we get at the end?
The final film plus the versions you need: short cut-downs, vertical edits for social, subtitles and stills, agreed before the shoot.
