Concert and live music filming FAQ
How many cameras do you use to film a concert?
It depends on the venue and the budget. Most concerts are filmed with several cameras covering the wide stage, the musicians and the audience; we plan the set-up with you after a recce.
Do you record the sound as well?
Yes. We can take the feed from the venue desk or record multitrack with a sound engineer, and mix the audio for the final film.
Can you film a live session in your own studio?
Yes. Comuna Studios in Lisbon has sets, lighting and camera gear on site, so a band can play and record a live session in one day.
Do you film festivals and make aftermovies?
Yes. We work as a festival videographer crew: stages, artists and the crowd across the days, cut into a festival aftermovie and short clips for social.
Do you film outside Lisbon?
Yes. We film concerts, festivals and sessions across Portugal and travel with the crew and equipment.
Do you film stand-up comedy and live shows?
Yes. Stand-up, talks and live shows are filmed the same way as concerts: several cameras, clean sound and an edit ready for YouTube or streaming.
What do we get at the end?
A full concert film, single song videos, an aftermovie or short vertical cuts for social — or any mix of these, agreed before the shoot.
How long does the edit take?
It depends on the length of the show and the number of cuts. We agree the delivery date before the shoot, and short social cuts can come first.
